Here it is, in full glory. I'm only disappointed by the fact that it looks like a Gallardo from the 3/4 front view. Otherwise, amazing looking car.

French independent film director Gaspar Noe's latest film - it's a head trip to say the least. Set in neon-bathed Tokyo, it's like Trainspotting crossed with Suspiria, Tron Legacy and Lost in Translation.

Word of warning though, if you found his two previous films, "I Stand Alone" and "Irreversible" disturbing, you probably wouldn't like this.

That said, if you're brave enough to jump head first into the rabbit hole, it's probably best to watch it under the influence of something extralegal.

Lame cop out doesn't change the fact this is an underwhelming and uninspiring car.

Not to be pedantic but those aren't spy shots. Those are straight up leaked pr photos.

I'd like to ask you, since you seem to be a fanboy of this car, would you buy one - with your own hard-earned money? I think not.

Aren't you the one fooled by your own statements and question? You know since when I dreamt of having one? Always.

And to your question, my answer is definitely yes.
vote.

Proverbs 18:2
A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.

I just want to share this to you, sir.
This coming from someone who didn't "take pleasure in understanding" himself.

Deflecting through sophomoric pedantry and trite one liner quotes obfuscated as deep revelatory wisdom doesn't make you insightful, clever or worldly. It just makes you pretentious.

On the other hand, it's clear now that you're the sort of person that aspire to and fall into the trap of buying into mediocrity. That goes a long way to explain your taste in music. It's the nature of the fool to delude himself deeper meaning and value in the lowest common denominator, after all. Good luck to you.

Still, the R8 has got to be the most ubiquitous supercar ever in the Philippines.

R8? several times na... para hindi OT, a white one and a gray one ang mga naalala ko. They all look very nice.
Carstruck ako!

I've seen several too. One was trying to navigate the potholed streets of Pasay, carefully inching so as not to scrape its chin. Another was entering Intramuros.

I've also been inside one.

Trekker, you're a fool.

I don't hate for the sake of it. Sure, they may be doing their best to improve quality but that doesn't wipe their slate clean immediately. This rebadge of a terrible car isn't a convincing attempt at that.

I'd like to ask you, since you seem to be a fanboy of this car, would you buy one - with your own hard-earned money? I think not.

I may be a "hater" but its demanding petrolheads like me that are part of what keep car companies like Chrysler from becoming complacent by egging them on. Else they start doing mediocre products again.

Quite handsome. Kim Jong Il has really learned a thing or two about styling.

Still ugly, still boring.

Small wonder, in America, this is mostly purchased by hire car services.

Right until its replacement comes along.  ;D

If the Audi E-Tron and E-Tron Spyder Concepts from a few months back are anything to go by, the next R8 is going to be even more futuristic.

^Whether it's good/bad depends on what model/year that Porsche is. Because you can find early 90's 911s today for around P1.5 M which isn't particularly extravagant and actually cheaper to buy than a brand new Camry or Accord.

I'm sure it came from his own pocket. The Aquinos and Cojuangcos are swimming in cash.

I just saw him on a Toyota Camry last Sunda.y  ;)

Taking after his mother, I see.
I think former president cory used to be chauffeured in a toyota crown

Yes, she opted for a Crown when offered a bulletproof Benz from that time. Thing is, it probably isn't wise to tool around in an unarmoured Camry given the state of Philippine politics.

But it's still a good thing. Somehow, right?

Only for PR purposes which is two-faced and manipulative.

Black exterior and tan interior. It's the little black dress of car colors, it works in any situation and never fails to make you look elegant.

It's why presidential limousines the world over use it.
