Car Comparison / Help! Suzuki Alto or Chery QQ?

A friend called me a while ago, asking for my opinion if she should go and buy Chery QQ over the Alto.  She's quite envious with my cute ride for the longest time so she has decided to buy her own considering that fuel prices have already gone down. 

But since her budget is only P350K, it's only a choice between the QQ or the Alto.  Ayaw niya ng installment o mangutang so 'yon lang daw talaga ang budget niya.  I was even suggesting the Getz or the i10 kaso, hanggang 350K lang daw siya talaga.  Anyway, it's her first car so sige na nga-- Alto or QQ lang muna.

I told her to go for the Alto kasi at least, Suzuki 'yon.  Besides, I haven't read any positive reviews yet about the QQs in terms of performance, except that they are really cheap and its color variants appeal to candy-loving ladies. This is why my friend is more partial to the QQ because it has better(?) looks daw than the boring Alto.

I need your opinions, guys, so that I could convince my friend to reconsider or at least give her all what she needed to know about the two cars. Thanks! Thanks!

i know, i know.. TG has already made a rundown of its Top Ten Most Memorable Covers in its September 2008 issue.  but as they say, different folks have different strokes (and tastes) so i am just curious: what is your best TG cover so far and why?

sorry guys, i'm such a sucker for nice magazine layouts, hence, this topic.  i am sure the TG staff will also find valuable ideas from our answers.

as for me, i find the september and october 2008 covers as the best so far simply because they exuded lots of (masculine) appeal, good taste, mystery, and style!
