So.... are you telling something indirectly?

I LIKED BMW 135i because i thought it`s CHEAP for a BMW yet a HIGH PERFORMANCE car. That`s why i love the genesis coupe now.

Whoever said BMWs are cheap in the Philippines even for a "BMW"?

My estimate, the BMW 135i would be priced at P4M to P5M.

If P4M to P5M is cheap for you, well that is your opinion.

Car Comparison / Re: livina or fuzion...

If you don't need the extra seats, the Mitsubishi Fuzion is the good choice.  But you would probably have to keep a light foot on the accelerator pedal to keep fuel bills from going sky high as with any other gasoline SUV.

As for the Nissan Grand Livina, I really don't find it appealing if I was given an alternative.  It is really a small vehicle so if you really need to carry lots of people at the same time, the Toyota Innova would be a better option. And at least with the Innova, you can get an option of gas or diesel.

Hahaha. You won`t be bothered by gas prices if you can buy the car. Got it?

I guess you don't pay for your car's fuel?

because the only people who can say something like that are:
-very rich
-fuel paid by parents or by company expense account.
-don't own their own car yet

Not very rich. If you can buy that fortuner without a sweat, you will have no problem with fuel cost. I classify our family as  upper middle class family. This is my dad's Certificate of Compensation
Payment/Tax Withheld. Correct me if I'm wrong that we're a upper middle class family.

yahdah yahdah yahdah....  ::)

To summarize what you posted, you don't pay for your own gas nor own nor maintain your own car.

Just letting you know that the Toyota Fortuner is not a multi-million peso SUV for the rich and famous.  It is a common SUV that is affordable for the middle class on a limited budget.

As such, fuel cost as well as maintenance cost is important.

But if you were to discuss about the Range Rover Sport, well that's a totally different story because those who can afford such a vehicle is not concerned (much) about fuel costs as compared to the feel of luxury or public presence when you drive/ride this vehicle.

Yun lang GH, anlayo talaga ng price ng gas vs diesel ngayon, when you can really opt for diesel engines for cheaper fuel.
Pero sabi nila ganun din daw kasi mahal naman daw maintenance ng diesel engine.
If you could experience driving Hyundai Getz , Hyundai accent , new Grand Starex , Ford Focus , Ford Everest, Toyota Fortuner, Hilux, and Innova, Mitsubishi Montero and Strada. All were equipped with CRDI, hindi mo na mahahalata na diesel engine sila kasi super smooth at silent inside the cabin. For sure iiwan nyo mga gas-powered cars ninyo.
It won`t be long till you can here the diesel engine inside the cabin.

Actually you'll be surprised by how quiet modern diesel engine are these days.  The only time you can know is when the engine is cold.

Hahaha. That's why the brand new monterosport of my friend's dad is so noisy.

I said modern diesel engine.. not a new vehicle with a diesel engine of old design.

Best examples would be found in european cars like BMW and Audi.  The Ford Focus is also a good example of modern diesel engines.

53
When it comes to looks. Of course Impreza is the best choice! Ford Focus and the Mitsubishi Lancer GT-A are pretty overrated these days. Besides, Impreza is a AWD with 150 HP. Not bad for a light vehicle. The resale value for Impreza is good not like the overrated Focus and Lancer. Choose the Impreza in White Pearl! Trust me, that's the best color for it.

AWD is fine but it will not benefit you in your typical city day-to-day driving.  In fact it would increase your fuel consumption also decreases overall car performance due to the power-train drag of the AWD system.  Not to mention the understeer characteristics of the AWD system when driving near or at the limits of adhesion.

Always consider the pros and cons.

Go for the 2.7G. No more d4d problem. Plus diesel engines are noisy! Luxury means quiet and Comfort.

No diesel noise but the cost of gasoline will make you say "ouch" every time you visit the gas pump.

How is it?

I got the lancer EX GLS... the ride quality is very similar to a Camry.

The 16inch wheels and tall sidewall tires don't help in getting more performance out of this car.

i changed the wheels & tires to 18inch wheels and 235/40/R18 tires and handling & steering response improved dramatically.  Ride quality with the 18s didn't change much.  Since the suspension is still stock, the body yaws a bit during hard corning. This can be "fixed" by aftermarket suspension but I plan to the mods limited to the wheels only for this car.

Sorry, I have sold my Sentra over a month ago and bought a new car.

But my car was plenty fast, it dynoed 152 wheel-hp. So that computes to somewhere between 170 to 180 hp.  Not bad for a normally aspirated 2.0L engine.  And given the Sentra B14 is a very light chassis, power to weight is in it's favor.

Also, don't you think the video was way too steady? For those who have driven at 200kph, we all know how a car would bump and vibrate at 200kph.  The video looks as if was done on a roller.  And given we only see the speedo, I suspect that is what was done.

BTW, I was comparing my Sentra's performance against the local Camry 3.5L A/T.  I don't care what an USDM Aurion V6 does because we don't have that on Philippine roads.

Ah. So what's your car now?

Well, I got a Lancer EX 2.0L.

Ghost my point is the 0 - 60 acceleration. And he got 0 - 200 kph in only 26 seconds and it can still push through. Try posting your video and lets compare how fast is your sentra.
