Chequered Flag / Citroen is making WRC boring IMHO
« on: June 15, 2012, 05:54:27 pm »
Just realized that its been 8 or 9 yrs since a different driver won a driver's title in WRC. Since 2004 its been Sebastien Loeb who gets away with that title but you cant blame him for being consistent and have the bullet proof reliable car. Also its been 5 years since Ford took their 2nd or 3rd constructor's title (if I'm not mistaken).  Currently there's only 3 brands battling in WRC platform cars gone were the days of 5 to 6 brands fighting. Sometimes I felt Citroen is making WRC boring, because you know there's no driver who can match mr. Loeb's ability and luck, not even Petter Solberg who was the last man to beat him in 2003 driving a Subaru Impreza WRC. Oh and possibly Citroen's dominance was to blame why Skoda, Mitsubishi, Subaru & Suzuki works team pulled out in this series and the economy thingy was just an excuse. Anyways lets just hope FIA will come up a solution to slow down that Citroen of Mr. Loeb and invite more manufacturers. Or Loeb gets tired of being in front and swap cars with Ford for a different challenge.

Motormouth / Re: Question on Nitro Inflated Tires
« on: June 15, 2012, 02:55:22 am »
Nitro sa tires? Ngayon ko lang nalaman to ah. Ano kaibahan nun sa normal lang na hangin? :D

yep nadiscover ko lang din sya last year through my colleague...based on my experience 1 week pa lang ako nakakagamit sa kanya, maganda un effect niya hindi masyado hirap un sasakyan sa hatakan, less noise.

the interval in topping up nitrogen in your car is just the same as with your conventional compress air. in my car there is a tire monitor that beeps and warns me when topoing up is required. nitrogen cars are cooler than compress air, it does not expand and therefor you have consistency in your tire's psi.

wow cool naman ng car niyo sir, well I guess i need to buy those tire valve gauges sa gulong to verify if I need refilling...I have to agree with you on cooler than compressed air part, it will help prolong yung buhay ng gulong since di sya nag eexpand.. Naalala ko nga pala sa colleague ko he told me na it took him 1 year bago sya nag pa refill the nitro ng gulong niya.

Thanks everyone for the inputs deeply appreciate it

Motormouth / Re: Bridgestone or Yokohama?
« on: June 12, 2012, 03:12:46 pm »
I used to have a Yokohama for my Vios til yesterday after I saw a huge puncture sa right rear tire ko... To my experience on Vios XX mejo hirap sa hatak un auto maybe sa hangin or alignment ng gulong... I heard Bridgestone are good maganda daw mag degrade (syempre depending on the driving style) .. try mo din po Dunlop SP Sport inflated with nitro ok din ang performance hindi hirap sa hatak un sasakyan

Motormouth / Re: Okay ba ang turtle wax products?
« on: June 11, 2012, 10:09:51 pm »
before gamit ko Turtle Wax their spray on wax is ok pero un paste for some reason talaga nag iiwan nga sya ng residue... If may budget ka for wax recommended ko Meguair's or Mothers carnauba.. If about shampoo ng Turtle Wax i guess ok lang sya pero u dont have to spend that much ok din na shampoo ung Micromagic worth 99 pesos un 1 liter sa Ace Hardware 109 pesos naman sa Blade outlets

if hindi traffic maganda talaga manual less stress sa kaliwang binti  :D :D +better gas consumption. Pero if within NCR at traffic pa lagi sa area matic is a very gud choice + di din naman ganun kalaki difference ng consumption ng gas nila.
