Mini Cooper
Can you list out advantages and disadvantages of a Mini Cooper? Because I'm planning to buy one. Thanks.. :D :D
I love cars... I know I'm a girl... but who cares?! I've always dreamed to be a Drift Queen, a Kart Racer and a F3 racer (although it almost died down recently)...

Sir ishi, what kind of Mini Cooper do you want to buy, the classic or the modern? I know a shop in Cainta who sells Mini Coopers. :)

Well, advantages, its small and more economical than a larger car of the same vintage, disadvantages, its small inside and obviously offers less safety protection than a larger car of the same vintage, for parts you might want to get in touch with Mini Club Philippines listed here.

One time I saw Mini coopers from a car importer shops, and it is priced around 1.5 - 1.8 M.
I understand it's quite rare and special here, it's unique and the engine can be tuned to sporty, and the overall car aura is overwhelming. But the car is relatively smallish to its size, thus making the overall value on the downside. But it still depends on who will own and drive it.

Its called a Mini so I guess you'd know what to expect when you buy one.

Last I heard the updated Cooper(NA 1.6) started at around P2M+, while the Cooper S (now with a Turbo instead of a Supercharger) was somewhere in the P2.4M+ area.

About the smaller classic Mini Cooper, if you are lucky, you might find some 90's era Mini Coopers being sold for P500K or less...

Yes its european.
Which one do you plan to buy?
The new Mini or the classic Mini (its hard to tell since this classic Mini thread is already mixed with new Minis).

Was the turbocharger attached to the original 1275cc engine?

That reminds me, there was a special tuner Mini using the 94hp engine of the MG Metro trubo (same basic 1275cc A-Plus engine but with a turbo).

The E.R.A. Mini Turbo (1989-91)

This rare model was actually more popular in Japan than in the UK.
