Yeah that's interesting.
Maybe we can have a MTB group here. There are a lot of car enthusiast who are also bikers.
I started biking a year a go. I changed bikes and this is my 3rd one. My first bike is hardtail and my 2nd is full sus already. I find it enjoyable to go off road, downhill and trailing. Im from Negros Occ and we have a lot of trails here. Hacienda roads, downhill and offroads. Nature tripping and its fun.
My current bike is:
Enduro SWorks '04
SRam brake levers and shimano disc brakes
turbo lite handle bars
XTR 07 front and rear derailleur and shifter
RaceFace Prodigy crankset
FOX vanilla RLC fork '06
FOX RP3 rear shox '06
mavic X3.1 hubs, dt swiss revs spokes and XTR hubs
Maxxis Ranchero 2.0 tires
Thompson laid back seat post
specialized BG saddle
