Under the hood, two different engines are offered. The 2.4-liter petrol produces 171 hp (128 kW / 173 PS), while the 2.2-liter diesel is rated at 163 hp (122 kW / 165 PS) and 184 hp (137 kW / 187 PS).

In the handling department, engineers retuned the chassis "to further enhance vehicle dynamics, improving cornering, roll characteristics and ride feel." These changes are backed up by Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist and Braking Assist.
