Mitsu to launch affordable Montero at sub 1M.

According to auto industriya, Mitsubishi Phils is planning to launch the most affordable Montero yet.

Not confirmed, still on the drawing board.
Reliable source, a Mitsu insider said that there'll be a diesel Fuzion or with a downsized 1.6L petrol engine then sayonara to the Adventure AUV.

Nice, a little too late to launch a diesel Fuzion. But as the saying goes, it's better late than never.
I thought the Fuzion was one capable and underrated vehicle. It has a nice interior, has better sound insulation and ride compared to the Innova. Third row is comfortable for a 5'7 guy (like I am). I also prefer its road stance and overall looks since at first flance it looks like a sporty SUV.

Is this news still a rumor? If it is going to be introduced at that price, I will no doubt get one. Just wonder how much montero mitsubishi parts you would save.
