I don't think everyone could agree, but for me it's now hightime for Nissan to bring in a mid-size SUV, because as everyone could see, they are the only local manufacturer now that do not have a a model for that segment (for the Japanese makers at least), case in point:
order in size:
Toyota
Rav4- Fortuner- Prado- Land Cruiser
Mitsubishi
ASX- Montero- Pajero
Ford
Escape-Everest- Explorer- Expedition
Nissan
XTrail- Patrol!
see the gap?
I hope NISSAN could bring in the PATHFINDER to fill that gap and preferably with the upgraded YD25DDTi and the V9X V6 as an option.
This idea comes to mind becuse i see that the competition is getting old with only minor aesthetic revisions, and i reckon that the local midsize SUV battlefield could get a lot more interesting if and only if NISSAN realizes that they are losing ground faster than they know.
And oh, the PATROL is already in its mid life crisis stage, the ROYALE is too much to take.
