they both look good infact the looks were comparable to euro compact suvs.
If you can stretch your budget a bit I suggest you get the crdi diesel models since they were a lot more powerful and fuel efficient than the gas versions.
I've never driven the new sportage but based on the inputs of my friend who own one it is quite thirsty and it never felt punchy but he likes how it looks and the features it has. The kia turns more heads since its newer compared to the tucson. I suggest you check out the new mazda cx5 before deciding but between the two I suggest you get the tucson over the sportage, it feels spritely(lighter than the sportage), slightly more fuel efficient and the stabilizer link issue for the 4x2 was already addressed by hyundai

Go for Kia Sportage. Mas maganda na, mas rare pa sa daan.

I think you go for the Sportage, yung Tucson kasi, GL pa lang siya. So it lacks some features, right? Kapag Sportage, then, mas madaming features yun like Daytime Running Lights.

Go for the Tucson because it's more practical in terms of fuel efficiency and as I have observed there are a lot more Hyundai service centers accessible rather than Kia. I heard the Sportage can get thirsty and later you'll regret having a drunk car. For me, both cars look good and appealing to the eyes even though the Sportage isn't that common. It's better to sacrifice looks rather than practicality coz looks you can change easily but the engine is hard to change to a more efficient one.
