Sir Jake could you explain me how the lease to own scheme works? and what are its pros and cons? TIA.

Simple lang...

Leasing is cheaper compared to regular financing. Example, Toyota has its own leasing and Banks has its own leasing also. So if Toyota receives a leasing from a bank toyota put them on the last part of the line for unit allocation because Toyota is not gaining that much profit unlike the bank. So,if you buy a car and lease it from toyota you are one of the priority already even if the other client has already down from the bank(carplan) for about 5 months. Though leasing directly from the bank some other clients told me thats it's cheaper but, more hassle when it comes to requirements and service from the agents. why? because agents receive only like 500 pesos for that and for that 500pesos they will spend too much for prospecting for new clients and managing their old buyers which gave them more profit. Ofcourse if you have a business which one will you accompany first? the bigger profit or the smallest profit?

So all-in-all its better to give the agent the best that he can have so he can give also the best that he can give. Unlike, give the best of the bank that they can have and give you the lowest rate that you can have but, sacrifice everything for that amount. That amount that you will pay is the amount that the agent will use for you someday like returning your call... it's not cheap to call a client. or go to a client  or giving them the time of the agent for their service.

I don't mean to be rude but EXCUSE ME!

For one, isn't service per se handled by Service personnel and not sales and marketing?

Granted you may be talking about a lease to own scheme instead of an outright purchase but when would it fall onto the lessee to call the agent? I would like a clearer picture of this?

I mean, when you lease, does that include the services like change oil to be charged? So meaning if I pay like 10k a month, I shouldn't have to worry about charges for changing the oil or PMS?

I do not see the connection of the sales when the arrangement of payments has already been established so I am somewhat apprehensive of what you are saying.

Also, the reason that you only got "500 php" as you said, is because it also reflects on the effort you put into it right? It was the bank that basically closed the deal and not the sales agent per se, if it was through the bank in obtaining the lease to own agreement.

Anyway, my post is getting a bit long, but I would like to say be careful of what you are saying because I find what you said, in part or in whole, a bit questionable.
