help for my innova

hello guys, first of all, it's not a technical problem,
i just want to ask for any alternatives sana.
we purchased an innova last dec.29, 2011 and what got me worried and disappointed at the same time was that it came with NO engine undercover. to think that it is the main thing that protects the engine againts dust, water splashes, etc.
i knew by then that it was to be purchased separately. Unfortunately it came with a bit costly price. it costs around 8,090 if what i recall was right. but im sure it was around that amount.
i would want to ask you guys if you have any ideas or alternatives to an engine undercover for our innova. thank you!

aside from getting dirty and it looks messy, I cannot see other negative things if a car doesn't have an engine cover. By the way we also have an innova diesel and it has an engine cover I am assuming you own a gas innova

If you really wanted to have one, check the innovabarkada forums maybe they can help you find a cheaper one

actually, ours is a diesel, too. innova E dsl/mt. maybe you have the higher G and V variants.
i keep wiping and self-detailing the engine but dirt keeps accumulating. thanks for the tip

thanks for that. i've been thinking about it lastnight, maybe accessories included in brand new cars varies depending on which toyota branch.
