kaisershadow:
hi guys hope you can help me out here.

we just recently visited sta. ana cagayan and dropped by to look at the imported cars. and we were interested in buy some of them. one was the "Honda Mobilio" and "toyota Celica 7th gen"
my problem are
1. if in the future we need parts for them will it be easy to get them? mostly engine parts.
2. servicing of the car.

they said that the honda mobilio engine parts are the same as the honda jazz/city. and the toyota celica 7th gen parts are the same as altis and camry. is this true? we would be buying next month and the other next year so we still have a lot to think about.  thanks!! hope you guys can help

maranello_5775:
1. as with other imported cars be prepared with the headaches of finding parts, usually you have to import them personally which makes the ownership quite expensive especially if the car does not share common parts with cars locally sold.

2. usually servicing the cars is easier now since a lot of autoshops offer servicing to cars that isn't sold locally like the one you are planning to acquire.

I'm not sure about the celica 7th gen but the mobilio shares its platform and engine with the city/jazz previous generation

wow thanks finally a reply. thats good to hear about the mobilio. not sure where i read or heard about the celica but they say its like camry parts. cant verify it thou. and the seller said that there are alot of parts in banaue/banawe? sorry for the spelling not sure how to spell banaue.
