Best and affordable (small) car
« on: September 01, 2012, 09:13:31 pm »
Hi, just want to ask if ano yung pinaka okay na kotse na bilhin.

Anyone has an idea if magkano yun and if possible, estimate running DP na inoofer nila at monthly. Thanks!!!

actually small car nowadays are a lot safer compared before because of the advancements in automotive safety. If you prefer a small car that's easy on the wallet (easy to own and maintain) then get the recently unveiled mitsubishi mirage though delivery will start in a few months time. It's affordable and offers better value for money compared to the hatchbacks in 490k-600k range.

The hyundai minicar you're pertaining to is the new eon, the i10's smaller brother. According to a friend who owns one, it is really fuel efficient and powerful enough for occasional highway drives. Prices start at 438k for the base model gl and 498k for the highend gls. The DP depends on the percentage for example 20% of the price however hyundai is known for its All-in low down payment schemes for those who don't want to shell out a large sum for downpayment.

Just in case you cannot wait for the mirage and you find the eon too small then take a look at the under rated mazda 2 1.3 hatchback, priced at 724k or its more popular cousin the ford fiesta trend hatchback at 699k. If you're a little bit daring then consider the great wall florid as left field choice, it's like a chinese cousin of the yaris (mashed with scion xa) it retails for 625k though I heard great wall lowered the price to 599k

Of all small cars, (sub-subcompact) I like the Picanto the most. Comparing it to the Hyundai Eon, the design of the Picanto is better. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the recommendations. Mukhang okay nga yung mirage. so almost same pala sila ng price ng eon. Hmmm...makakahintay pa naman sa mirage kasi di pa naman enough pangbili ko ngayon kaya canvass mode muna.  ;D
