Bridgestone or Yokohama?
Troy:
Which is better mga sir? :)
red-mosquito:
I used to have a Yokohama for my Vios til yesterday after I saw a huge puncture sa right rear tire ko... To my experience on Vios XX mejo hirap sa hatak un auto maybe sa hangin or alignment ng gulong... I heard Bridgestone are good maganda daw mag degrade (syempre depending on the driving style) .. try mo din po Dunlop SP Sport inflated with nitro ok din ang performance hindi hirap sa hatak un sasakyan

Aww that's bad. I think i'll just stick to my stock tires which is a bridgestone.
My question is tatagal kaya ng 10k kms. yung stock tires ko? Or more than pa? Thanks sir! :)

I don't really know if this is a fair comparison or not. But I'll tell you my story anyway.
The Fortuner's fitted with stock Bridgestones and they've lasted pretty well. It was 4 years old so you could already notice through the tread that it needed replacement soon, but not that urgent. I noticed a puncture a few days later on the front right. I brought it to Bridgestone for a vulcanize but they said it needed replacement already because it could blow up on my way home. This is actually in contrast to my Terrano's Michelin. It's tread has been pretty thin for a while now and after it got punctured (my fault for driving in certain places) I had in vulcanized and the shop said they wouldn't blow up. [I regularly check pressure btw]
Now for my Yoko's. I have them on my Miata and I've had them for about 6 years now (weekend warrior) - Neova AD07s. Not a single problem ever. I still have about 85% tread left (my own estimate). No punctures, pressure stays constant, excellent grip (1-2psi drop after massive temperature changes which is normal) etc...
Personally, my own experience dictates that I go with either Michelin or Yokohama from now on.
P.S.
I've already tried BFGoodrich, Continental, Pirelli, Goodyear, Nitto and Toyo. Continental is great (especially the DWS) but of all I've tried, I've loved Michelin and Yokohama the most.
Hope this helps ;D

Thanks for the information sir. :)
Grabe napakadame nyo na pong na try na tires. O.o
Totoo pala talagang one of the best ang michelin at yokohama. Kase karamihan din ata ng mga F1 cars yun ang gulong e?
One more question sir, pano mo malalaman yung thread life ng gulong mo? Thanks! :)
