urvan vs. hi ace

no doubt the urvan's simpler design and diesel engine will provide cheaper maintenance out of the two but in terms of longevity the more modern hiace can match the older urvan.

If your brother will use the van for business purposes get the urvan since it offers many configurations that will suit his business however if it is for family use then get the hiace commuter and install additional speakers and retrofit cabin panels to cover exposed metal parts or if he can extend his budget a little then it is best to get the bigger hiace gl grandia

thnks bro. for you advised my plan is for business of like tourist and for family use as well.....how about the passenger it is comportable to urvan or hi ace...no grandia becaz expensive only commuter is level of  escapade

The hiace commuter is popular among tour van operators in many parts of the country while the urvan is more popular in city transport like gt and uv express, I think the urvan's seats are more comfortable (except for the side facing seats for 18 and 21 seater urvans) compared to that of the hiace commuter. The best option would be the 12 seater urvan escaped since it is not cramped like the 15 seater hiace and urvan shuttle.

sir what do you mean by best engine? because I think the local hiace is only available on 2.5 d4d and the urvan's engine(non-estate)  is available only in 2.7liter distributor type

though the modern d4d of the hiace already proved its toughness in local conditions, I think the urvan's simpler distributor type engine will outlast the d4d engine of the hiace not to mention its cheaper and easier to maintain.

Pag pang business, Nissan Urvan na kunin nyo since speed is not considered, got simpler diesel engine (old) it's tough but the downside is pricier spare parts. Tama si maranello mas maganda ang seats at seating configuration ng Urvan vs. hiAce commuter which got thin seating materials, and upright seating position and cramped configuration. HiAce got more speed and horsepower than Urvan though not sure kung tatagal ito na matino since CRDI were more complicated system.
Mas matipid din ang Urvan since its 2.7 engine got no turbo, as compared to hiAce' CRDI with turbo.

thanks s lahat n mga ngreply..nalilito ako ksi my nagsabi sakin dati n ang nissan urvan daw ay ng overheat..totoo kaya un. mahal ba ang spares part nang urvan...at ang hi ace namn wala namn akung narinig n bad. except ka mo s crdi?

also hiace for me. reliable talaga compared nissan. may mga narinig din ako na hindi tumagal urvan sa friend ko e. so far wala pa naman sa hiace
