Toyota Motor Philippines New models releasing date??

Good day to all..

hi , I just a new user in this forum, i just have i few questions, regarding when and where the Toyota Phil release their new models of cars,..

by the start of the year or maybe in the  mid-year??
specific months,? much appreciated..

I don't think there really is a set defined rules they adhere to with regards to release dates as the newer models are sometimes affected by the older model inventory, market demand (if globally available) as we tend to be the last priority to get units because of the size of our market (except for models like the IMV platform and the vios).

Experience tells me though that they don't release during the last quarter (near the christmas season) as they tend to launch "promo" events there so they want to drain their inventory during those seasons.

and i heard that the Toyota launching Hilux and Fortuner 2.5 D4D VN Turbo Intercooler this coming September..

Ah for that specifically, I do think you should wait for the engine upgrade of that model. I heard rumors before they might launch it near the end of this year or next year but those are rumors up until now. It is best to consult with the dealers since before a "new model/update" is launched, they are usually trained before the launching. So they would have a vague idea of this.

Plus check the forums of the other sites for that specific models projected updates. I haven't been following the IMV platform schedule anymore so I can't really say what the latest rumors are now.

Hey GTR, forgot where I read it but Fort and Hilux engine of 2.5 D4D will be the upgraded one by september. Sorry if I can't recall the source though. Perhaps you could try looking into it further now as the buzz seems to be there already.
