appreciate all your comments guys, Ive ask other person some say its expensive some say its not, I think we must also consider the location, its a bit expensive here in Visayas than in Manila considering also that the car is from a car dealer of course he must earn some profit, but anyhow in my opinion also its too expensive, I will talk to my brother in law to consider some options.

i also dont like it. ok lang kahit chrome. pero hindi maganda mismong wheel e. you want 1.2M that's the base price of a non-vgt montero. might as well buy brand new, then modify it.

if it's a bit expensive there in visayas, hindi naman siguro for the brand new ones? same lang naman siguro dito sa manila?

I agree with d.lake. Usually the price is not too far off from those here in Manila. I wouldn't expect a 4x2 gtv montero AT to cost 1.5m there. If SRP here is 1.42, I'd say adjust max about 50k more or less. But you still get offered discounts and what not. =)

But if city talaga like say Cebu, I think it should cost about the same talaga, since hindi siya outlying area but a metropolitan base/city.

Cheers!

sorry guys but we bought the car we settle on 1.37m, the thing is my brother in law likes the car, we hit the road, speed up and reach 150kph, the ride was smooth even though the tire was big but i admit its a little bit bumpy on rough road, highway driving 9-10L\km, city 7-8L/km. Only thing defetive that we found out was the remote for the radio at the steering wheel, change the battery but samething  sometimes it work sometimes not, anybody knows whats the solution? Ive ask the casa they said to change the remote unit.

Hehe! Mine also suffers from the same. Usually works during the first hour then just nothing for the rest of the drive, until you actually "restart" the whole car.

It is not the batteries I feel because it happened even when the car was new.

I didn't bother with changing the control unit because it just took time to have it replaced on my end and I just used the touch screen controls or the radio itself. =)

Cheers! And congrats on your purchase.

actually the remote control for the steering wheel drains the battery very fast we already changed it twice for our 2 year old montero sport

So its not the remote unit to be change as what the technician from casa said, I'll try to change the battery to see if it works.

Were planning to change the head unit with touch screen monitor, does it affect the electrical system? or modification of dashboard? or it is plug n play?

Changing the battery might work. At least it is a minimum expense to check if it works properly.

About changing the head unit, I think as long as the power consumption is not over the stock AVT head unit, it shouldn't be too much trouble. I don't know though how the cables work to make it interact with the radio but your remote controller @ the steering wheel might not work anymore.

If I recall correctly, the technician said it is wirelessly interfacing with the head unit via IR. So no physical wires are connected to the steering wheel to the head unit which is why they need the batteries. I don't know if there is a way to configure the signal to be accepted and received by different headunits though so that is something you may need to check.

If you are going to change the head unit and it is compatible, I suggest you also explore the option of whether or not you would want to add monitors to the headrests of the front seats for the rear passengers. At least the work is done as a whole. For the stock AVT unit, the two monitors if added by Mitsu, should cost around 15k php accrdg to Mitsu Q Ave accessories when I asked 6 months ago. I haven't had it done though as I really haven't found the time to leave it with them for 2 hours to get the wiring done properly.

Thats the plan also to add monitor to the head rest, what about a overhead monitor u think it is much better? In my opinion looks better since the third row seat has the view also.
