Lancer Ex MX Modding Help

Hello Sirs/Ma'ams,

Some months ago, I posted here on the forums asking for advice on which car to get (was choosing between Chevrolet Cruze LS and Lancer Ex MX) and got what I wanted to hear so I got the Lancer (really satisfied).

I'm planning on modifying it bit by bit and I'm hoping you could enlighten me since I'm really a novice when it comes to cars.

First step: RIMS/MAGS

What is the maximum size that can be installed without voiding its warranty? 17, 18 or 19?

Get whatever you want, keep the stock rims for when you go in for service.

Technically, any rim change voids a part of your suspension warranty, but not your entire warranty.

I see, so when it's that time to go for service, I'd replace it with the stock mags?

No need. Just if you ever have issues with your suspension or brakes, then you swap back.

The stock suspension is fine with 18s, but e car can take 19, too. One popular mod is simply buying a secondhand set of EX GTA rims, costs less than a brand new set of aftermarket rims, comes with the right tires already, and poses no problems in terms of fitment.

I have a somewhat similar question.  im about to get the lancer ex 1.6, and planning to change the front bumper.  Am I going to void something in the warranty?

From what I know, you'll be voiding their "anti-rust" warranty for the front bumper. Are you going to get the Evo bumper look? BC that's what I'll be getting next hopefully first quarter next year.

i want it to have the GT-A front bumber  look and GT-A spoiler.  I was thinking if there was a way to make the main "nose" have the complete chrome outline like the gta withoout have to replace the bumper. Any ideas? pero uunahin ko na yung gt-a spoiler na modification. can you recommend a shop?

I have read somewhere that the front bumper can be converted to have that look. I haven't had mine done yet so I can't really suggest a shop (plus I'm from the province so there isn't much option here).
