Hi, Sir Carlo! Regarding the position Sales Exec/Marketing Staff, is experience on the same field required?

I c... but wouldn't it be impractical to go to manila for the interview without any assurance of getting hired? With all the fare and expenses?

How about a representative in the provinces so that your company can have a personal interview  :D

For the question if im willing to be relocated in Manila, I cant say yet. It depends on the contract.  :D

I also want to apply for the opening, pero nagdalawang isip ako... as far as i know kasi, Lexus will be located in The Fort, which is quite far from where I live...

And my specialty really is talking over the phone, paperwork and behind-the-scene jobs... so I was looking for something like a back office position.

No, experience is only preferred, but not required, what is required is a passion for automobiles and the communication skills to imbibe that passion to potential customers

Unfortunately, the risk of not being accepted is a reality facing all our applicants, as it is with any employment opportunity.

Sir Carlo interviewed me last Wednesday.  And yeah, he's a big guy...hehehe.  I'm currently working with Shell, but since love ko talaga cars, gave it a shot.

Toyota's office is really nice.  Quiet (at that time) and lots of Japanese folks.  While I was waiting, may girl na nagseset-up ng presentation about the Prius ata...And wow, parang nakakaexcite yung presentation...hehehe.

Haven't heard anything from sir Carlo yet, pero dami kasi applicants and for sure, busy siya.

If i were janjalaniv, I wouldn't also travel to Manila just for an interview without assurance that I will be accepted and that the compensation will be worth the expenses. Passion for automobiles is present but being practical should not be forgone. If only there is a way for him to be interviewed without leaving Negros...

What happened to technology?

The name of the company is Lexus Manila Inc. It will be located in the Fort, why should he get preferential treatment just because he lives in Negros Occidental? Technology serves as a bridge, but there is no replacement for the face to face interview. If location will be a problem, frankly he shouldn't apply.

Thank you, Sir Carlo for clearing that up.

Although, in my humble opinion, Vincent never asked for preferential treatment. Just a way for him to be interviewed without leaving Negros. But never did he ask for anything that's beyond what recruitment can do. Unfortunately though, what he hoped was something that recruitment doesn't do. He applied because, as what he told me before, it looks like a good opportunity. He is well aware that the job is in Manila and location will not be a problem to him, if he will get to work here, but the recruitment process will be since we (including me) just found out that face-to-face interview will be required, and there is no provincial recruitment representative for Lexus.

                                     ☺☺☺☺☺☺

Anyway, Sir Carlo, I still haven't submitted my application cause I am still tied up with my current job and I would not be able to leave without the required 45-day notice. It may sound cheesy, but I know you will find a lot of better and more qualified applicants that I am. I have also asked some of my friends who are car enthusiasts who may have the passion you are looking for to submit their applications to your email.

Thank you for your endorsement. Unfortunately, as i said, we currently rely on face to face interviews to classify applicants. There are no issues with his request, but i do have issues with the manner in which it was requested. I do hope that in the future, more tact can be extended.

Thank you very much, and i hope to conduct business with you in the future.

Sincerely,
Carlo Chungunco,

Thank you, Sir Carlo. I will wait for your call. It's just unfortunate that the call was made in the afternoon when I was sleeping (since I am on the night shift).
