My "dress" car is what the subject here its in good order but the front is begining to droop i was told it had something to do with the thickness of the spacer of the coils spring up fornt. any other coments?

Could be... these are the Rubber Spacers (DOTs 1~4).  The shocks could also be an accomplice.... the springs.... nah, not likely.

Incidently, what yr/model is your 230?  I also have one myself.... W123 '84 230e AT

82 with a 115 engine Carb  :-\ the shocks seems fine but ill have them checked.

Yup, best you do!  Other than the fact it would make your Merc look "stooped",  :'(  this may also affect the car's riding performance....  :(

my w 123 had a serious rear ender its almost finished (the repairs) ill be bugging you soon about getting that'front end up"  ;D
