and, at sir scuderia, e36 3-series. 316i, really.

actually, i am surprised the engine still had the guts even to reach that speed. my parents don't rev past 3000, so you can just imagine how boring it feels.

Your car should be able to go past 180kph if you have enough road.

It should be stable enough to go beyond 200kph if you have a bigger engine or install the correct mods to increase the power (like UNICHIP from Speedlab).

150 km/h on my 2.5L DI-D Montero Sport the Skyway at night (11pm(ish)). The car's got some more to give, but I didn't push it. :D

180kph on a 1.3L engine.  Regarding the speedlimit on hi-ways... you can always flat out your cars speed... as long as you dont get caught.  Been driving around lately at that speed and never have I been caught or apprehended. 

If you want to speed up like crazy, just make sure you only use one lane and not use all the lanes... remember, youre not the only one who's driving on the road!

Always be careful whenever pushing your cars to the limit. It could have some detrimental effects to its engine and other internals. Happy motoring.
