What's your car's top speed?

You guys worry too much about your "engines".  It can take surprisingly more abuse than you think.  As everything designed into our vehicles, there is a safety margin included.  So if you just rev your engines to it's indicated "limit" (or the redline on the tach), the engine will just be fine.

Anyway, it's not that you would be maintaining that speed for hours.  Most would just stay with it for a few seconds.  Others would be lucky enough to maintain the high speed for a few minutes.  Nothing damaging about it.  It might even clean out the carbon deposits from your cylinders, giving you that ferrari tune up effect.

My pilgrimage to New York's B&H Superstore along 9th and 34th, last October 2009. Three storeys of an adulterated display of everything photographic - over 230,000 photo, audio and video products unimaginable. I was eyeing for a bargain 24-70mm f/2.8, only to buy a replacement Hoya filter for $12 for my broken 35 f/1.8 filter that fell in LA. The week when Nikon D3s was launched but no sample unit is available to play with. Talk about!

















I almost treated myself with a SB-900, ordered it - but didn't muster enuff guts to actually pay for it. Left the place happy after two hours of window-shopping, was asked politely not to take photos around the place - well, this is a photo store, so who the hell cares? Sneaked some of these shots with my Sigma 10-20 wideglass.

good day. new post ba 2? cnxa na. anyways, e2 stats q so far:

1972 Toyota Celica (TA22) - 160kph @ 4000+rpm (humihingi pa)
1990 Mitsubishi Galant SS - 170kph+ (around 5000rpm yata at humihingi pa rin)

*all done from Susana Heights to Sucat exit only
*galant has stock engine.
*i weigh as heavy as 2 average persons
