Like the Aveo hatchback concept, we expect the 1.4L I-4-cylinder Ecotec turbocharged making 138-hp to enter production in the top-of-the-line trim. A naturally aspirated 1.4L 4-cylinder version is also expected.

The all-new Aveo went on sale in Korea this March, in China this month (May), it goes on sale in Europe this summer and in North America (badged as the Sonic) this fall.

It will probably be launched here next year.
So far, according to the sales guys at Chevrolet Greenhills EDSA, the 2 new models that will be launched later this year will be the Orlando compact MPV and the Traverse crossover SUV (the ones that were previewed at the recent MIAS).

This exterior Chevrolet parts resembles the racy-looking Aveo RS Concept which was unveiled in Detroit, while the two-tone interior undoubtedly takes after big brother Cruze.
