Toyota 4K engine idling problem

This is about a 4-K Corolla Car-Engine 1976 model, overhauled with complete Kit, Cylinder-Head machined; and installed with new Spark Plugs and Piston rings. Its Carburetor was also overhauled and was also tested with other ones, so as to be sure of its proper functioning.

The problem is, it could not be put to “idling operation”, otherwise it would just die out, unless on “high-revolution”. Moreover, its 4 Spark Plugs (New) were found “blackened-sooted” when inspected.

Several Mechanics have already tried putting it into “normal idling” but to no avail.

What could have been the culprit? Thank you.

Try checking the positive wire that goes to the carburator baka walang kuryente. Or maybe the float is set too high causing the engine to flood which explains why your plugs are fouled up.

bro, also check if you have the right air-fuel mixture for idling. also consider the state of your air filter element and fuel filter.
