For those who complain that the old one is love-it-or-hate-it affair
Hyundai addresses your complains with these

HARI should learn their lessons.

Sir, the accent is positioned in the subcompact category so its rivals are the following: honda city, toyota vios, kia rio, chevy aveo and chery cowin

I think this will be a serious threat to the vios and the city, especially if they continue with the diesel engines :D

This would be a serious fight between the Honda City and this 2011 Hyundai Accent, while the Toyota Vios remains its cute and cartoonish design.

Yan ang kelangan dalhin ng Hyundai dito to compete with Compact car segment vs Vios and City, syempre with competitive price para swak sa Pinoy. Elantra din para maka compete with Civic, Altis, and Sentra.
Another lacking here is Hyundai pick-up, para kumpleto na to fight vs Toyota for top spot.

I hope the diesel variant still remains.
