Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing Uhlenhaut????

I don't know about you but I'm sick and tired of everyone comparing the SLS to the Gullwing. Anyone with even a cursory knowledge of automotive history would have realized the designers based the SLS on the SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe. But I suppose it is much more romantic to invoke the icon than some car named after a tight assed German engineer no one's heard of. For comparison (which, I promise, is not, in anyway, just a shameless excuse to post gratuitous pictures of mouthwatering metal):

Personally, I'll settle for a W126 300SDL.

But I thought I'd point out the thing with the Uhlenhaut so that when TG PH manages to get the chance to review the car (you never know) they won't make the same mistake as other "journalists".
