Hello there!
            Clan - clan sa mga die cast collectors...meron yata dito but I am not a member yet. I am also a die - cast collector. I just started last year. Most people I meet would always say, " it's rare for a girl like you to collect die -cast models. It's like a boy's hobby." No siree...the automobile world has been participated by the ladies since the 1930's or even earlier.
            Trade - in?Hmm. .....I am not sure yet because I am still completing my collection. I am still thinking if I would buy the Land Cruiser Prado & the Dodge Charger w/ the General E.Lee flag on the roof ( Duke's of Hazarads' Movie )@ Uncle Jhonny's Hobby shop....it's costly to have car collection as a hobby. My lastest collection is the AE86 1983 Toyota Sprinter w/ separate parts & accessories! Details w/ parts count a lot diba.
             I also collect CAR keycahins, as in small cars turned into keycahins!
How about you where do you buy your collectibles?

hi thanks..sa rply  i buy my collection at uncle jhonnys hobbies...minsan sa idcow.com i started to collect a toy car way back 1997...i start at 1983 knight rider karr 1:18 by ertl and 1955 mercedez 190sl...hang gang sa mag karoon nako ng mga luxury cars limousine etc...up to now exotic cars nman ang ang gusto kona...just really wanted to hav a lamborghini gallardo and buggati veyrone eb100....any way thanks sa respond mo...mukang dadalas ako d2 sa TGP

Wow ang tindi ng collection mo! You have a Bugatti Veyron? And a Lambourgini Gallardo ha...me I just have the Lmbourgini Murcielago. Most of my collections are the Japanese cars.. I have also the Honda Civic Si Coupe. Anyway, I hope I could see your collection. Thanks for sharing

hi po doc g thanks po pero hndi nman po ganon k tindi ang collection ko. . . thanks 4 being nice po..wala pa po akong bugatti veyron its really hard to find that kind toy car collection specially when it comes in 1:24 size... u can look at some of my collections at friendster.com....

               I was able to see @Motor Trend Classic a picture of a SHELBY COBRA 1:12 scale. Grabe it's worth $500!   My gosh!! Well if you'll look closely, you'd know why it cost so much...the detailing & materials are super:Down to the Weber carbs, gated shifter, & the functional knock - off hubs ( w/ hammer ). yup nakita kona po yang unit nayan same sa 2003 Chevrolet Corvette C5R #50 Compuware diecast model car 1:12 scale die cast by GMP...same from shift knob to pedal lahat gumagana..the price of corvette is 600 $$..at meron din akong n search sa u tube n ferrari g480 from piston to valve and elactrical wiring engine running the ferrari die cast build in 15 yrs ! ! !  can u imagine ! ? thanks po doc g sa im4mation

I have NASCAR replicas in assorted scale. I'm not trading them up, well at least not yet. Just want you guys to know so you could consider me if there would be any planned die-cast car show in the pipeline...

Wow this is getting exciting!   Nice idea if there'll be a die-cast show but before that I would like to join a group of die cast collectors first so that I would know what are considered collectibles. I am trying to make a small replica of a little town out of my die cast collectibles. I've made a short hi-way & bridge. I'll have to ask the opinion  of our electrician for the lighting source. Kulang kasi sa lighting, kulong kasi sa mga shelves. Anyway, when i've finished organizing my friendster, I'll post my collection here & see what you could make out of it. Either give your opinion for arrangements & the like. I also collect pictures of different sorts of cars & I am going to make it into a sort of collage ne car outline...put it in a frame & display it. Bahala na...basta you help me guys about it ha. I am glad that meron nang members here who are into the die cast collection

oo nga sana mag karoon ng die-cast show and soon die-cast clan...doc g u mean diorama ? sakin lahat ng 1:24 scale model ko naka diorama ng exotic center sa 50 gallons aquarium naka post pic non sa friendster ko...at sana mag karoon ng grand eye ball sa lahat ng tgp fanatic at die cast collector kahit n once a month lang why dont we try to open new topic in die cast in this forum ? doc g kaw napo bahala mag open ng new topic

Wow you're giving me the honors to do that? Dapat ikaw bcoz you were the one who started the topic about die-cast. Anyway sana nga kht once a month may Grand eye ball for the members/moderators/ & TGP staff! That would be so much fun diba. Hmm maybe we could suggest that to the EIC...sige i'll request muna for a segment dito sa forum ng Die-cast para lahat about it doon i-post. That's a great idea. Thank you.
