Teamrage
Road Rage
No, these guys aren't menaces on the street. In fact, they are a bunch of cool cats. Teamrage shows us what a friendly brotherhood of car lovers is all about

Why 'Teamrage'? Are these guys out for blood? Hardly. The acronym (RAGE) stands for 'Racers, Audiophiles, Gentlemen and Enthusiasts'—emphasis on 'Gentlemen'.
Teamrage is the brainchild of Jonathan Chio, club founder and car lover extraordinaire. This guy loves cars so much that he felt there needed to be unity among all car brands and owners. That and a venue where people with different hobbies and interests can just chill. It is all in the interest of learning and being exposed to different views, opinions and, of course, fun. Friendship is what bonds these guys, and you can count on being welcome if you drop by during their EBs.
You see, it doesn't matter at all what car you drive, how fast it can go, or if it has been set up or not. As long as you love your wheels and call yourself an enthusiast, Teamrage has open arms for guys (and gals) like you. Even age has no meaning in this group.
Sick of the usual politics? Well, there won't be any if you join this group. According to Jonathan, it is pure 'Team' with this group, as in 'Team Effort Achieves More'. Hmm...I suppose a love of acronyms may be a prerequisite for any would-be Rager.
Kidding aside, Teamrage began with just seven members seven years ago. It was formalized in 2002, when membership had grown to 38 gearheads. Today, there are over 300 Ragers. And how was it done?
They have an Internet forum, which became their usual meeting place". Amazing how these talkboards bring people together. Naturally, the heart of the team belongs to the members since cars will always come and go. And the love can be felt worldwide. Members include nationals from Australia, the US, Canada and Korea—not to mention our entire archipelago.
The team meets once a month at Silver City Auto Mall in Ortigas Center, or any other gimik areas in the metro. Barbecue fun runs are also a favorite, including get-togethers to watch a Manny Pacquiao fight, for instance. Car shows aren't the main and only emphasis for these car nuts, and that is definitely refreshing.
Jonathan says it best: What is important is who drives the car, and not what you drive. No rivalries and no fights."
That is all the rage these days.
