5 tips for the drive back home

By Patrick Everett Tadeo

So, the long Holy Week holiday is over and you're making your way back to the metro. Of course, the same tips you usually read--and hopefully follow--on what to do before you embark on your road trip apply when you're driving back. Besides the usual "check your car's mechanical stuff" advice before you start the trek home, here's a reminder on what you can do to make the trip back home more relaxing and worry-free for both you and your car.

Great article, wish you could add being careful doing overtaking maneuvers with exercising patience. Some really jusy blindly do it as if they are rolling the dice in the casino in a blind corner when they clearly are lacking in power to complete the maneuver quickly.

For the passengers, they should find out how to prevent stiffness/soreness in the legs with the "exercises" done during long haul flights. =) Some of them can be done even while sitting down which I think is helpful to minimize stopping to "stretch" excessively during long trips.

Christmas, New Year, Holy week, Pag pasukan na ng school, All saints' day. Jakpot na naman si manong drayber!!!

I drive manual Starex, kahit sa sobrang traffic very cool pa rin, sakit nga lang sa binti.

I feel that sir. I use to drive a 97' Toyota Corolla XL. No power steering and manual. Doesn't even have power windows.

and may i add ung left corner for overtaking lang po dapat ung lane na yun after transcending the vehicle in front of you go back to the fast lane . maintain 100 kph (baka mabaril po kau kung lalagpas lau dito hehehe speed gun).
    • mindkinetic Apr 09 2012 @ 12:49am
      ...left lane
