At the media ride-and-drive event for the all-new BMW X5 in Vancouver, Canada, last weekend, TopGear.com.ph was hosted by BMW Asia corporate affairs director Sethipong Anutarasoti. During one of our conversations, the executive offered an amusing analogy involving Apple's products vis-à-vis the Android-powered competition. We touched on the subject in the wake of Apple's unveiling of the new iPhone 5C and 5S.
An Apple user, Seth had this to say about non-Apple gadgets: "I once used an Android phone and found the user experience choppy. The graphics was nice but the operation wasn't smooth, unlike with the iPhone, where screen images flow seamlessly with your touch. In this sense, an Android tablet or phone is like a powerful Japanese car, like an Evo, whereas an iPad or an iPhone is like a BMW. The difference is the refinement."
Do you agree with the analogy?
