Paul Walker

Chances are you've already seen Fast & Furious 7. And chances are you also already know that some of the scenes with Paul Walker in them feature computer-generated imagery (or CGI) of the deceased actor. Walker had only completed about half of the film when he died in a horrific car accident on November 30, 2013.

The film's producers are said to have ordered substantial revision of the script to adapt to the unexpected development. They also hired Paul's brothers, Cody and Caleb (shown below), to act as body doubles. As for the shots requiring facial close-ups of Paul Walker, it has been reported that the film's studio hired Peter Jackson's New Zealand-based visual effects company called Weta Digital for CGI scenes.

In other words, those scenes not featuring the real Paul Walker show either Cody or Caleb with Paul's CGI face superimposed on them. Question is: Which scenes exactly are these?

To be honest, we couldn't really tell which scenes featured a CGI Paul Walker--except perhaps for the very last scene in which Brian O'Conner was playing with his kid on the beach before chasing Dominic Toretto in his white Toyota Supra. Because obviously, that farewell part was done as a tribute to him. That and the simple fact the CGI work was superb. It doesn't help that no official word has come out of the film's studio as to which scenes have the CGI Paul Walker.

Could you tell?
