Michael Bay is back for one another shot at the blockbuster live action flick Transformers--this time with more vehicle-transforming robots, more action-packed metallic showdowns explosion sequences, and more of the hot and foxy Megan Fox.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is bigger than what everybody expected.

The movie is set two years after the first encounter between Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and the robots. The Autobots, still under the leadership of Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), are working with the American and British army in a secret agency called NEST. NEST is created under the Autobot-Human Alliance Agreement and working on rounding up Decepticons that are still on the loose all over the world.

Optimus Prime gets a warning after a bout with a Decepticon in Shanghai so the original Autobots start preparing for an impending war against an old nemesis. On Optimus Prime's "Protect" team are Ratchet (Rescue Hummer H2), Ironhide (GMC Topkick) and Sam's car, Bumblebee (Chevy Camaro 2010 concept), as well as a bunch of new recruits: Mudflap and Skids (Chevy Trax and Chevy Beat), Sideswipe (Chevy Corvette Stingray), Arcee (Ducati Superbike, Suzuki B-King, MV Agusta F4) and Jolt (Chevy Volt).

There's no big deal about the plot. It's predictable.

There are scenes that went too fast, you'd find yourself asking your seatmate about the lines. Non-Transfomers fans will also be left clueless on some parts of the movie because most of the elements are lifted from the original Transformers series. The movie gives you a few laughs, but I found some of them very annoying and disturbing--particularly the close-up shot of Agent Simmons (John Turturro) in his underwear.

On the other hand, the fight scenes are amazingly choreographed. Compared with the first movie, this installment is full of action sequences with a feast of CGI and special effects. Car lovers will also enjoy the lineup of transforming cars, although Chevrolet pretty much dominated the group.

For boys who don't think Megan Fox is enough to heat up the action, the producers added Isabel Lucas to quench our manly thirst for hot girls.

In terms of acting, I can say Shia did a good job. In fact, most of them really tried even though actors in this type of movie don't really need to exert too much effort on acting. As for Fox, it's sad to say she failed again.

To sum it up, amazing CGI in fight scenes, handsome cars and hot babes provided a balance to a movie with poor plot and tasteless jokes. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a must-watch.
