Exciting times are up ahead. In just a little over 12 hours, new cars will be launched in the Philippine market, thanks to the 2012 Manila International Auto Show

We already know of several models that will make their debut in the country. But we also know how secretive car companies are when it comes to details about their new vehicles. Rest assured we'll have all the information for you to devour once they are officially released. For now, have some fun by sharing what you think should be the price of three of the most exciting cars that will be launched when MIAS 2012 opens its doors.

1. Ford Ranger

2. Hyundai Eon

Hyundai Eon

VEHICLE TYPE: Subcompact hatchback

ASSEMBLER'S PITCH: "Hyundai Eon is undoubtedly a head-turner. With its uninterrupted flowing curves and strong character lines, it's a car that's modern and stylish like nothing else. The familiar Hyundai hexagonal grille, the swept back headlamps, the half-moon-shaped tail lamps along with other distinctive design elements increase the style quotient and make the Hyundai Eon a design revolution."

3. Subaru XV

Subaru XV

VEHICLE TYPE: Compact sport-utility vehicle

ASSEMBLER'S PITCH: "The fundamental product concept that Subaru adopted for the XV is 'Urban Adventure.' In specific terms, a vehicle that would be perfectly suited to exciting, lively, yet stress-free use in the city. Thus, Subaru balanced optimal performance factors such as fuel efficiency and enjoyable driving (Fun to Drive) with a stylish, highly distinctive exterior design."

So, how much should these vehicles cost when sold in the Philippines starting tomorrow?

Will there be a single cab ranger? Or will all models be double cab?

If he ranger would have a single cab type, I'd say that would place it around 700-800 for the base model, double cab, 900k. Top of the line 4x4, I'd say almost 1.6m to 1.8m depending on what features they would put as the standard top of the line "wildtrak" package.

Eon 400k (Base MT), 700k (top of the line AT)

Subaru XV - 1.2m php (base 2.0 model), top of the line might be around 2m php especially if larger engine displacement.

    Subaru XV 1.398M

500k ang Eon sa Hyundai North Edsa...
    • tgstig Mar 29 2012 @ 07:48am
kung presyo 500k yan dapat alisin na nila yung hyundai i10 GL variant.
  • kapangyarihan_ng_kabayo Mar 29 2012 @ 05:55am
    Methinks:
Ford Ranger - around 950k to 1.5mil for the top variant
Hyundai Eon - between 400k to 500k-ish for the top spec
    Subaru XV - around 1.5 to 2mil
  • 16c galibier Mar 29 2012 @ 09:52am
    1. Ford ranger- from 900k to 1.5M depending on what variant
    2. Hyundai Eon- from 350k to 510k
    3. Subaru XV- maybe 1.1m to 1.5m
  • matmat Mar 29 2012 @ 11:02am
Sana yung Ranger - Trekker and Wildtrak ang range is from 900k to 1.1M lang. :) para mapalitan ko na yung '07 Ranger - Trekker TDCi ko.

    2012 Ford Ranger- 900,000 TO 1,500,000
    2012 Hyundai Eon-300,000 TO 480,000
    2012 Subaru XV Crossover-1,330,000 TO 1,700,000
  • DMZ Mar 29 2012 @ 11:36am
    Just want the Trekker 4x2, 2.2 TDCi,tag near 1M.
RANGER leads the way,RANGER never shames the owner behind the wheel.
It's proven as the 2008 Trekker of kapitbahay racked-up 186K kms with no major issues.
    • someonespecialisme Mar 29 2012 @ 01:44pm
thats a lot of k's for a 2008 car :) san naman nila ginagamit yan? :)
and considering that the 2008 ranger was a mazda platform with some ford design in it, and it racked up 186k with no issue, im assuming that this new ranger will be a lot tougher and more reliable than the old mazda pickups!

im buying the 3.2 a/t ranger when it comes out and put some big tires and rims on it!
  • rupert Mar 29 2012 @ 03:26pm
    Ford Ranger - 950K to 1.4M
Hyundai Eon - below 300k to 400k because its so small.
    Subaru XV- 1.4M to 1.6M
