Crossovers designed for urban trekking are becoming more popular with buyers who demand more ground clearance and storage space from their vehicles. The Chevrolet Trax certainly fits that mold. With its 1.4-liter turbo engine, respectable roominess, and electric power steering, it presents a tempting package to those in the market for a practical car.
But what's it like to drive? We got the chance to test out the top-of-the-line LT variant for a week, and we were pretty pleased with the experience. While the Trax's styling won't turn heads when you cruise past the supermarket, it will get you and your passengers there comfortably. And its engine may not be the fastest turbocharged box in the parking lot, but it's quick and powerful enough to get you from said supermarket to the toll booths on SLEX hastily.
Check out this video to watch our first-hand review of the Trax and to find out if it's fit to tackle our bumpy streets. You can also read this article to learn why it's an ideal crossover to live in.
Have a safe drive!
