The game is supposedly "now available across the world" to anyone who has a Sony Entertainment Network account and access to a PlayStation 3 that's connected to the Internet. Best of all, the demo can be downloaded for free from the PlayStation Store, "with no ownership of the Gran Turismo game required."
The Gran Turismo 6 demo game is needed for those who wish to join the 2013 GT Academy since it will guide players through a number of rounds in a GT Academy-themed driving school before unlocking the final qualifying event. Gamers who qualify for this year's GT Academy could find themselves living the life of a race driver for Nissan. As a matter of fact, two former champions, Lucas Ordoñez and Jann Mardenborough, recently raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Nissan-powered LMP2 car that finished fourth in its class.
It's just our bad luck that the Philippines isn't part of the GT Academy.
