Ford, Top Gear partner to educate first-time car owners

The recent spate of motor-vehicle accidents involving very young drivers both here and abroad only proves that there is currently a serious need for driver education. Many first-time car owners today jump into the driver's seat without even bothering to familiarize themselves with the basics not just of their vehicle in particular but more so of road safety in general.
Ford Group Philippines and Top Gear Philippines want to change that. In order to improve the competence of motorists in the country--particularly the first-time car owners--Ford, in cooperation with Top Gear, is giving away 1,000 copies of First Gear, a 96-page instructional booklet on driving, road safety and car maintenance to those who will sign up through this website.
If you're a first-time car owner--or if you know anyone who is a first-time car owner--all you have to do is sign up below. Just fill in the fields pertaining to your contact information and a copy of the booklet will be reserved for you. The First Gear booklet will come with a special Top Gear sticker.
You may begin signing up starting May 29, 2012. Please note that we only have 1,000 free copies of First Gear. This campaign technically ends if and when we've reached a thousand qualified registrants.
