Ford launches service promo for out-of-warranty units

TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Ford launches service promo for out-of-warranty units

Ford Group Philippines isn't just about selling brand-new cars. The American carmaker recently kicked off a new customer service promotion for Ford owners whose vehicles are now out of warranty.

By offering genuine parts and service to Ford owners with out-of-warranty vehicles, Ford is strengthening its commitment to deliver vehicles offering optimum performance.

"In addition to providing world-class Ford vehicles, we continuously aim to further enhance and improve our already best-in-class customer service experience," said David Macasadia, vice president of Ford's customer service division. "This new campaign will help further strengthen our leading cost-of-ownership equation, and help our customers continue to feel the difference of today's Ford."

In line with this, Ford's service promotion will throw in a free oil filter to out-of-warranty Ford owners who will avail of the periodic maintenance service for their vehicles through the month of May on top of the 15 percent discount on parts and labor. The promotion is valid for Focus, Escape, Everest and Ranger units sold from 2004 to 2007.

Macasadia also highlighted that the use of non-Ford original parts can affect the safety of a vehicle, not only for the driver and other road users but also for pedestrians.

"We place highly visible branding on our parts, so people can make sure their vehicles have been repaired to the highest possible standard,” Macasadia added.

That's great because i was thinking of buying a honda as my other car because maintenance for my 2006 Everest is getting costlier. In that case, I might finally decide on the Fiesta as my other car. Thanks Ford Phils.
