Binalot food chain to introduce truck concept at franchise expo

TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Binalot food chain introduces truck concept

The Binalot food chain is introducing a new franchise model through its Binalot Food Van at the Franchise Asia Philippines Expo 2012 on July 27 to 29 at the SMX Convention Center in the SM Mall of Asia complex.

Borrowing the concept of movable food trucks in the United States, the Binalot Food Van is a truck-mounted Binalot store and serves as an eco-friendly mobile food solution.

The Binalot Food Van utilizes a Mitsubishi L200 cab chassis with the modified body manufactured by Centro Manufacturing Corporation.

Conceived by Binalot founder and chief executive Rommel Juan, the Binalot Food Van is designed to cater to people on the go and will serve popular Pinoy classics like adobo, bistek, tapa, tocino, sisig, and longganisa with salted eggs and tomato on the side.

Binalot will offer pre-approved sites for franchising with the Binalot Food Van, with the areas varying in sizes because of the mobility of the new store units.

The Binalot Food Van will be prominently displayed at the Binalot Fiesta Foods' booth at the expo where it may be inspected by prospective franchisees.

is it me? or nakikita nyo rin na medyo hirap na ang rear suspension ng L200 sa pic?

Its not only you, but also me hahahaha.... I don't know if its really because the rear suspension is having a hard time or if its just the way Mitsu/Binalot designed it...

Dapat eh meron na ring jackstand para hindi compromised and suspension at gulong while stationary.

I'm a Strada owner and I would say lumalalim nga ng husto yung likod kapag may karga kang mabigat.

Prolong Pressure sa suspension may break/destroy it causing more money in maintenance/repair alone.. So parang d rin maganda ang investment jan..?

    opinion lang :D

In Thailand, pick ups are subjected to more punishing abuse so for sure l200 can handle this

Di ko napansin na hirap ang suspension ah. :D isuzu NHR siguro mas ok para kayang kaya ang load, mas maluwag pa sa loob

For me this is an ingenious idea. There may be problems along the way but I'm sure the good people of Mitsubishi knows how to counter the said problems.

Question to Binalot though, if this is a "rolling store/franchise" how come it is on pre-approved sites?

Second, my question from a business operating standpoint is that how and where will you end up registering this business in your business permit? Would registering it in QC allow you to sell your food anywhere in Quezon City or anywhere in Metro Manila of your choice/own accord without fearing of being in violation of anything?

Lastly, just operating a business alone requires a barangay clearance. Getting a business permit for QC doesn't mean you can open up your business in its different barangays. Each would need it's own clearance.

I am not sure how this works from an operating standpoint. I mean, I get the idea, but in terms of the legal paperwork you would need to handle as the franchisee, how is it resolved? Especially if you want to utilize your wheels more efficiently by transferring locations. But if you are pinned down to one or two spots, why bother with the wheels?

Advise ko sana LoadPlus pangdagdag sa molye sa likod kaso sa experience ko sobrang tigas naman kapag walang karga.
