BMW unveils its latest vehicles for police operations
The Philippine National Police now has more reasons to be envious of its European counterparts, particularly with the choice of police vehicles. BMW has revealed its latest range of special vehicles that it will exhibit at the General Police Equipment Exhibition and Conference.
To be held at the Leipzig Exhibition Center in Germany from September 11 to 13, the three-day event will see BMW displaying two new vehicles that have been designed for the federal and regional police.
The two new vehicles are the 3-Series Touring and the X3. As police vehicles, both can be delivered with optional features such as additional warning devices for use on motorways. Additional LED identification lights at the rear offer enhanced protection of police officers from the traffic behind, while the optional control of a signal installation is possible via the BMW iDrive operating system, which is supplied as standard.
