All the hype has led to this. Ford Philippines has finally launched the Ranger Raptor, and now we know how much it's going to cost. Ready?

The Ford Ranger Raptor—with its badass design, 2.0-liter bi-turbo engine capable of 210hp and 500Nm of torque, 10-speed automatic transmission, performance-oriented suspension setup and FOX-manufactured shock absorbers—carries a P1,898,000 price tag.

This beast will be available across all the American carmaker's dealerships nationwide, and will come available in the following colors: Conquer Grey, Race Red, Shadow Black, Frozen White, and what you've probably been seeing across social media leading up to tonight, Lightning Blue.

Blue's nice, but we're particularly excited to see this baby in red. Other goodies? All-terrain BF Goodrich tires, a Baja Mode-equipped terrain management system for jumping about, a SYNC 3 infotainment setup, and that iconic Ford Raptor-style lettering on the grille up front.

"We are excited to welcome the highly-anticipated Ranger Raptor to the Philippines," said company president Bertrand Lessard. "The Ranger Raptor showcases the best of Ford Performance’s expertise in vehicle design and engineering, and we know our customers are really looking forward to enjoying its immense off-road capabilities," he added.

So, put down those wannabe body kits and fake Raptor grilles and lettering. The real thing is finally here. Now, the only question is whether or not you can afford its P1,898,000 asking price. Do you think the cost is worth it?
