We recently announced that there will be a Honda HR-V refresh coming to our shores this month. It was unveiled in Thailand last June 2018, so it was no surprise when Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) inevitably sent out invites to our local launch. But aside from the date of the official reveal, we had no idea about the prices. Until now.

A few weeks shy of the launch of Honda's HR-V refresh, HCPI provided us with what you’re probably most curious about regarding the Jazz-based vehicle. The Honda HR-V will be available in 1.8 RS Navi CVT and 1.8 E CVT variants. Oh, and the price? P1,500,000 for the 1.8 RS Navi CVT and P1,300,000 for the 1.8 E CVT.

The HR-V was first introduced in 2015 with the undecided car buyer in mind. It's for people who want the comfort and agility of a sedan, with the confidence (in the form of added ground clearance) of an SUV. Now, the HR-V will come in the new RS Navi variant (just like the Jazz and Mobilio launched last year). According to HCPI, the new HR-V will come with full LED headlights and daytime running lights, a new front grille, a new front and rear bumper, and a new design of alloy wheels.
