Nearly three years ago, Honda Cars Philippines spruced up the previous-generation CR-V with a Modulo Sports Plus edition in hopes of stimulating sagging sales as the model was entering the last couple of years of its life cycle. We don't know how well the marketing move turned out for the carmaker and its family SUV, but it was probably a success because the company is doing it again with the current model.
Here is the freshly released CR-V 2.0 V Modulo edition, which features a few aftermarket items designed to make the SUV sportier-looking, including:
* Modulo mesh-type front grille;
* front fog lights;
* rear camera; and
* rear cargo cover
The rear camera system, according to Honda, is connected to the intelligent multi-information display (i-MID) and provides added safety and convenience by helping the driver park even in tight situations."
Modulo is Honda's genuine accessory brand, and its products are "developed in parallel with Honda's new-car development."
The CR-V 2.0 V Modulo edition is priced at P1,295,000 for the manual transmission and P1,345,000 for the automatic transmission. Available colors are Urban Titanium, Taffeta White and Crystal Black.
Does this make the CR-V more appealing to you?
