Chevrolet Colorado prices now posted on local classified ads site

It certainly looks like the Chevrolet Colorado will be arriving this July as online classified ads site Sulit.com.ph has now been deluged with postings of the impending arrival of the midsize pickup truck. Ostensibly, some of the ads were posted by sales representatives of one of the American carmaker's dealerships in Metro Manila.

Based on the ad postings, the Colorado will be available in three variants: a 2.5-liter, Duramax diesel-powered 4x2 with a five-speed manual transmission; a 2.8-liter Duramax VGT diesel 4x4 with a five-speed manual gearbox; and a 2.8-liter Duramax VGT diesel 4x4 with a six-speed automatic slushbox.

The prices for the three variants? They’re being pre-sold at P1,148,888, P1,478,888 and P1,548,888, respectively, with a variance of P10,000 depending on which ad post you're looking at.

    there is no iota of doubt that chevrolet is doing well with the overall
    design and built of their products . i own a captiva which i purchased in 2009 of May it has reached it's 3rd year with zero issue and the ride is relatively the same compared when it 1st rolled out the dealership. however i will still put my money on the new ford ranger. the new ford ranger will define the attributes of what a pick up truck should be.

    Parang mahal? Alam ko pag pick ups nasa 1.4M ang top of the line. Ang 1.5-1.6M sa SUV counterpart nila. Just my opinion. Pero sa tingin ko worth it naman considering the looks and specs. Hehe. :D

    Ford Ranger 2.2L diesel 6 speed AT will sell for P1,119,000... at least that's what the dealer told me when I visited Ford Balintawak about a month ago. I think the Ford Ranger will dominate the pick-ups this year. Unless of course Toyota derails it with super low pricing or comes out with an even bigger badder version of its hi-lux :-)

    The price is already out of reach for ordinary people. All models are above 1M therefore its target customers are not for small business persons. Japanese carmakers know more about the Philippine market that is why they have variants intended for the majority of buyers. Expect trailblazer to be more than 1.8M as the top variant of colorado is more than 1.5M.

    Mura nga ang Ranger pero malamang PAHIRAPAN NANAMAN ang pagkuha nyan dahil kaunti nanaman ang allotment na units sa local market.'

    Medyo mahal ang 4X2 2.5 Liter variant pero okay ang pricing nila sa 2.8 Liter 4X4 variants!

    I think they set their prices too high. Because of this, the Colorado will most probably not sell very well.
    mas believe ako sa pricing and specs ng Ford Ranger!

    The best part is let TopGear do the comparo >:D It will never be soon before these two, Colorado and Ranger, will be flashed in our hands and eyes once we buy that TopGear magazine.

    Are there any news when will be the arrival of the top variant of Ford Ranger? the one with 3.2 engine?
