In an intimate dinner with Top Gear Philippines, Chevrolet Philippines managing director Atty. Albert Arcilla revealed that his company is expected to inaugurate at least four new dealerships this year to complement the 12 (five in Metro Manila and seven in the provinces) that they already have. Those four include one in Greenhills (San Juan), one in Otis (Manila), one in Cagayan de Oro, and another one in the CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) area.

"We're fixing our dealership network now so that when our new models start coming in for the 2012 model year, everything will be in place already," said Atty. Arcilla, who also pointed out that they are giving priority to dealers who are able to commit loyalty to the Chevrolet brand. "There are dealers of other brands expressing their desire to put up a Chevrolet showroom, but we want to concentrate right now on those who will only sell Chevrolet. It's difficult to have dealers that sell different brands. They can't really focus on the business because their attention will always be divided."

Chevrolet Philippines will hold another Motorama event on February 19 at the Mall of Asia. The all-new Spark is scheduled to be officially launched here. Now, what other Chevrolet vehicles would you like to see in our market this year?
