Here's something to make you excited for the 2013 Manila International Auto Show: Ford Philippines will officially launch the all-new Ranger Wildtrak at the show, which will run from April 5 to April 7.
To officially go on sale at dealerships nationwide by April, the Ranger Wildtrak will come in three variants: Duratorq TDCi 2.2L VG Turbo 4x4 manual (P1,349,000) and automatic (P1,419,000), and the top-of-the-line Duratorq TDCi 3.2L VG Turbo 4x4 automatic (P1,549,000). These new variants will be available in three body colors: Black Mica, Cool White and exclusive Chili Orange. With the introduction of the Wildtrak, the Ranger lineup in the Philippines expands to six models.

The Wildtrak features a sport package with roof rail, sport bar, box rail, bedliner, and special Wildtrak seats, steering wheel, and door trim. It also features Wildtrak badging and graphics. It also comes with dual-zone climate control, power front windows with one-touch up/down on the driver's side, rain-sensing wipers, dome interior lamp, auto headlamps, side steps, cruise control, and audio controls for the steering wheel.
The 3.2L variant has the following exclusive features:
* Rear-view camera
* Cooled console
* 12V cargo box power point
* Eight-way, power-adjustable driver's seat
The Ranger Wildtrak comes with a choice of two common-rail Duratorq TDCi diesel engines and six-speed transmissions. The 3.2L Wildtrak 4x4 has 470Nm of torque and a maximum power output of 197hp. On the other hand, the Duratorq TDCi 2.2L VG Turbo delivers peak torque of 375Nm and power output of 148hp.
