Ford teases next Explorer model with video

TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Ford teases us with its next Explorer model in video

While we're eagerly awaiting Ford's launch of the 2.0-liter Explorer EcoBoost at the 2012 Manila International Auto Show on March 29, the American carmaker is already giving us a glimpse of the next model to use the Explorer nameplate on YouTube.

Though no technical specifications are mentioned in the video, the mesh grille, body-color wheels and throaty exhaust note could only mean that it will be a performance-oriented version of the sport-utility vehicle.

We won't have to wait too long to find out what the new model is though as Ford has said it will be revealed on March 28 at 1pm Eastern Standard Time (March 29, 1am Philippine time).

    doesn't look like a mesh grille..only a net over the orig oem grille..

    Explorer with 365hp 3.5L V6 EcoBoost?...everyone is requesting for this engine to be fitted in the explorer. Maybe FORD listened to them and this is the answer.
