Volkswagen is not only busy launching new models, but it is also assiduously establishing its presence in different parts of the country. After setting up showrooms in Bonifacio Global City, Cebu City and Alabang, as well as a service center in Mandaluyong, the carmaker has now put up a showroom in northern Metro Manila.
The German carmaker's newest dealer on Quezon Avenue called, er, Volkswagen QA, was recently inaugurated with Iconic Dealership general manager Nemesio Solomon Jr. and branch manager Bob Anthony Palanca. Also gracing the event were Volkswagen Philippines president and CEO John Philip Orbeta and chief operating adviser Klaus Schadewald.
Having an area of more than 1,500sqm, Volkswagen QA features a 14-car display, handover lounge, parts and accessories shop, customers' lounge, and negotiation and reception offices. Just like the Volkswagen BGC showroom, the Quezon Avenue facility also has the latest "Volkswagen Interactive Showroom application," a digital platform first introduced in Hong Kong in 2013.
If you live or work near the area and would like to check out Volkswagen vehicles, look up "Volkswagen Quezon Avenue" on Waze, or input the address 1229 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City. The showroom is open from 8am to 7pm (Mondays to Saturdays). You may also drop by on Sundays and holidays from 8am to 5pm.
Test drives are also welcome. "For Volkswagen to be appreciated, it has to be experienced," Solomon once told TopGear.com.ph.
