So, we (or, to be more precise, Ford Philippines) sent our technical editor, Ferman Lao, to Michigan to cover the 2014 North American International Auto Show. At the reception dinner hosted by Ford Motor Company, Ferman was delighted to discover that part of the program was meeting the guys behind Need For Speed the movie, which, as we reported yesterday, will be shown in the Philippines on March 14.
"The program included a 20-minute preview of the movie," said Ferman. "Interesting stunts."
Ferman was able to meet the film's two Scotts: director Scott Waugh and actor Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi). Too bad Aaron Paul and Dominic Cooper couldn't make it. But more than making up for their absence was the presence of the real star of the film: the Shelby Mustang GT500.
Both Waugh and Mescudi graciously posed for photos with Ferman and signed a movie poster for him, dedicated to Top Gear Philippines.
