24th Trans Sport Show

Motor shows come and go, but for most of us there has only been one car gathering that we remember from our student days, and that’s the Trans Sport Show. Also affectionately known as the Trans Show, the event has been organized by Tradeshow International since 1992, making it the longest-running motor show in the Philippines.

This May 15-17, the 24th Annual Trans Sport Show will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Known for its fierce vehicle competitions, the Trans Show has awarded over 1,000 cars in its 23-year history. This year promises another showdown of the best specimens the restoration and aftermarket industry can produce.

The contenders this year include the top names in the aftermarket business: A+ Bodyworks, Alex Car Restoration, Alfred Motorworks, Emperor Motorsports, Route 66, Speedlab, Ultra Racing and Wheel Gallery. Over 100 cars are expected to be present and compete for the awards.

Last year’s winners will also be displayed. These are the Volkswagen Beetle of Aton Atillano, the Audi TT of JWorks Unlimited, and the Subaru BRZ of Autoline.

Other than seeing the latest trends in the car scene, visitors can peruse and purchase accessories for their own cars via the exhibitors’ booths. Participating companies include Perfect Circle, Dubshop, NGK Spark Plugs, Pioneer, Solar Gard Philippines, and Eurodecals.

And don’t forget to visit the Top Gear booth, where we’ll have Nissan GT Academy racing pods for you to try out.

See you next weekend!
